1. Introduction
These Terms and Conditions apply to all persons, businesses or entities subscribing to or purchasing the services and products of Tele500.com
2. Definitions
- "Tele500.com" means the company providing and operating these services and products.
- "Services and Products" mean the services and products described and offered on our website.
- "Users" mean the business or businesses, person or persons who are registered with Tele500.com
- "Website" means our presence on the world wide web under http://tele500.com which is available to the public.
- "Account" means the record of transactions applicable to a user or users associated with Tele500.com
- "Balance" means the monetary value of a user's account at any given time.
- "Call" means a conversation or voice transaction which takes place by a user or users through Tele500.com
- "Transaction" means any activity (call or non-call) made by a user through Tele500.com and may include, but not limited to, line rental, text messages and other communications, purchase of telephones and other hardware.
- "Top-up" means an initial payment to, or an increment to the balance of, a user's account with Tele500.com
- "Legislation" means laws or regulations governing the provision of goods or services between Tele500.com and registered users.
- "Registered Partners or Affiliates" refer to associated persons or businesses appointed by Tele500.com to distribute our goods or services to end users.
- "Acceptable Use Policy" means the guidelines provided by Tele500.com for acceptable use. These guidelines are shown separately on the Tele500.com website but may change from time to time. It is also available on request.
3. General Provisions
Provision of Service
The provider of this service is Tele500.com We endeavour to provide this service to you without any delays, interruption or distortion. However, the service may at some times be unavailable without notice due to maintenance or system failure. Users should understand that availability of our service is subject to the provision by the customer of a suitable broadband internet service. No liability is accepted or compensation offered should the service be unavailable.
All goods and services are provided in accordance with these Terms and Conditions, our Acceptable Use Policy and any applicable law existing from time to time. Please note that the Terms of Agreement posted on our website shall supersede all previous Terms and Conditions.
Payment and Accounting for Calls and other Goods and Services
Calls between Tele500.com users and many other internet users in any part of the world are free. In addition Tele500.com may provide free calls for promotional purposes from time to time. Calls to land lines and mobiles are charged at a much lower rate according to the rates given from time to time on our website. The Rate of calls depends upon duration and destination. All rates are clearly shown on our website under the country or area called. Other transaction for the purchase of Internet Phones, other hardware and software are clearly shown on the website.
A completed call transaction will be rated by duration to the nearest minute before applying the appropriate rate. The cost is then taken from the User's balance. Similarly, rental and other charges are deducted when due from the user's account balance. Users are advised to top-up their balances prior to making expensive calls or purchasing hardware and software. Should the User's account be reduced to zero, then the call or transaction will be terminated at that point.
Business users will pay in advance a sum equivalent to one month's rental charges for the aggregate of extensions requested.
Some inbound telephone numbers may be issued to each user free of cost but remain under the control of Tele500.com and may not be retained or transferred by the user to any other service. Similarly, geographical numbers issued by us remain under the control of Tele500.com and are charged separately.
User who believe they are incorrectly charged contact Tele500.com by completing our support on-line form within 10days to obtain a refund. Should an error be found Tele500.com will make an immediate non-cash credit to the particular User's account.
United Kingdom VAT is applicable to all charges for goods and services.
Administration Charges
An administration charge of £5 plus VAT is chargeable when a User's credit or debit card is rejected, when a refund is requested or Direct debit payment is dishonoured.
Top-up
After registration user may top-up for calls with £5 or increments of £5 up to a maximum of £50. Larger businesses may opt to pay a top-up in excess of £50. Users on joining may be given a number of free calls according to the promotion in force as described on our website.
Access to Emergency Services
Provided the Tele500.com service is fully operational, United Kingdom based users may contact public emergency services 999/112. It must be understood, however, that the service does not operate identical to the traditional fixed line emergency service and has its limitations. The emergency service may not be able to automatically identify your location and phone number unless you are able to speak and tell them. All users acknowledge and understand this and agree to inform household members and visitors of this limitation. Tele500.com accepts no liability for the limitations mentioned above. Emergency services can not be contacted via Tele500.com network by customer outside the United Kingdom.
Duration, Cancellation and Refund Policy
Users accounts which remain static will be automatically terminated and the PSTN numbers withdrawn where there is no activity on the account for a period of 180 days. The balances on these accounts will be withheld by Tele500.com and there will be no refund. However, the company will, send an email to such users ten days before the end of this period reminding them of the impending action.
Orders
Any orders made to Tele500.com will be subject to acceptance and availability. If the goods ordered are not available the customer will be notified by email and he/she will have the option to cancel his order or wait until the goods are available.
Shipping policy
Upon receipt of the payment the order, unless otherwise agreed, is shipped by the courier. All shipments within Europe will be delivered to the client within 5 working days. In the event that courier employee is not able to deliver the shipment personally, they will leave a notification stating a phone number client can call for a delivery appointment. If the courier is not contacted, they will try to deliver the order again the following day. If courier employee is still not able to deliver the shipment personally, it will be returned to Tele500.com after two days. The return charges, of a minimum of £ 50.00, will be at Shopper's expense. The shopper will remain obliged to pay the invoice.
Shipments cannot be delivered to a post office box, as a signature is always required.

Billing
In exchange for the goods and services supplied and for top-up purposes Tele500.com will accept most debit and credit cards. The types of cards acceptable will be shown on the website. All Users warrant that they are the legitimate owner of the credit or debit cards used for purchase of goods or services of Tele500.com; that the card(s) carry a valid card number; that the expiry date is subsequent to the date of use and that there is a valid security code on the back of the card. All users are hereby notified that the improper use of a credit/debit card could be a criminal offence. It should be noted that all customer details are fully automated and all payments for goods and services must be made in advance. On your credit card statement a purchase made on our website will be shown as: "VoIP ssl-secured-net"
Limitation of liability and Disclaimer
Tele500.com will always endeavour to supply you with a reliable service. It must be understood, however, that the service may be affected or disrupted by weather, failure of the user's internet service provider, hardware faults, criminal acts, service termination and other disruptions. In no event shall Tele500.com, its officers, directors, employees, agents, partners, affiliates or resellers be held liable for direct, incidental, punitive, indirect, exemplary or consequential damages, loss of internet telephone service, loss of profits or damages arising out of the use of the service, hardware or software programs.
Notices
Any notice under this Agreement, whether required to be written or otherwise may be given by Tele500.com to Users by Post, Personal Service, Email or SMS messaging to any email address, or phone number that the User has given us to correspond with him. Users must give notices to Tele500.com to the address shown on the website.
Law and Jurisdiction
This Agreement shall be administered under the Laws of England and Wales.
